I’m Joe Hitch, a motion and brand creative focused on helping tech and finance companies position themselves clearly and communicate their products effectively.
I work as an independent creative partner, combining traditional craft with modern tools to deliver high-end work more efficiently. Projects are led by me, with trusted specialists brought in when needed, keeping things lean and flexible without the overhead of a traditional studio.
How I got here
A route through product design, live visuals and motion leadership.
I studied product design at university, which gave me a grounding in how ideas become useful, tangible things. After graduating, I started freelancing — creating live visuals for music events and helping promote the shows around them.
Wanting to learn inside a team, I joined Noir Ventures as a junior motion designer. Over time I grew into a Head of Motion role, leading key projects, shaping visual systems and helping turn ambitious briefs into work that could move quickly without losing craft.
Eventually I realised the next stage of growth meant building my own path — taking what I’d learned from product, motion and marketing, and applying it more directly with clients who need thoughtful creative work that can make an impact.
